Farm for feast

Farm for Feast is a concept events company set up by Chantal Brown in 2019 to bring non farming folk to farms to learn about sustainable food production. Our flagship events of ‘wild about game’ and ‘wild about beef’ were based on an organic farm and city folk came to walk the fields and celebrate the wonderful produce from the farm through hands on butchery, cooking and eating. Sharing delicious food gave us fuel to have meaningful and welcome conversations around rearing and killing animals and managing the countryside. Ian Ballantyne from @thefamilymeal was our perfect chef and butcher guiding us through nose to tail eating. We look forward to running more events together, celebrating well produced food.
