Rachel has worked within the agricultural sector for 20 years and has a special interest in farm economics, business planning, and how regenerative agriculture can deliver higher returns within a good mixed system. She has a broad knowledge base, having worked within the feed sector, but also as a Field Inspector for DEFRA, delivering green schemes and more latterly as a Farm Liaison Officer for FWAG, building collaborative working groups and looking at landscape scale change across Somerset’s peat levels and moors.

She is also a first-generation tenant farmer on Exmoor, with experience finishing beef cattle. Rachel won a farm business award in 2017.
